Medium ruby, the 2018 Pinot Noir Aspect is scented of kirsch, licorice and lavender, plus nuances of tangerine peel and fragrant earth. The medium-bodied palate is powerful yet precise, intense yet pure, with a harmonious structure and very long, seamless finish. The 2018's velvety texture and expressive perfume are standouts in this portfolio, and it's a wine that you can drink now or over the next decade.

Limpid violet. Aromas of ripe red fruit, cola, mocha and baking spices, along with woodsmoke and vanilla flourishes. Shows very good heft and breadth to the juicy Chambord, cherry pie and spicecake flavors, which firm up slowly through the back half. Dusty tannins frame the spicy finish, which emphatically echoes the cherry note.
