2022 Dehlinger Pinot Noir Champ de Mars

Possessing a more ruby jeweled hue, the 2022 Pinot Noir Champ De Mars is from the hill next to the winery and is mostly made from the Calera clone in this vintage. The nose is pure and concentrated with aromas of black raspberries, nutmeg, fresh violets, and hints of mocha. The palate leans toward full-bodied richness, with plush tannins and the hallmark evenness and finessed length. While it’s the most robust of the wines, it never feels weighted. Drink 2027-2040. The original 14 acres of vines were planted by Tom Dehlinger in 1974.
