Note di degustazione
The purity of fruit is so attractive with violets, fresh raspberries and crushed-stone powder. Medium-bodied and very transparent. The verve and energy are just right. Crisp, elegant and fine.

Brilliant black raspberries, ripe cherries, spicy wood, and floral notes all emerge from the 2024 Château Peby Faugères. Made from 100% Merlot and aged 12 to 14 months in French oak, it's medium to full-bodied, juicy, and lively, with remarkable purity, fine tannins, and a great finish. This is an outstanding wine from this team, and Château Peby Faugères remains one of the most underrated estates in Saint-Émilion.
Flowers, dark pit fruits, chocolate, boysenberries, and licorice create a captivating aromatic profile and delightful palate experience. Supple, creamy, fresh, and fruity, the wine reveals its minerality-driven essence with ease. The fruits provide lift and energy from start to finish, making everything work beautifully this year. The wine is produced from 100% old-vine Merlot. Harvesting took place September 24 - October 10.
100% Merlot. 26.5 hl/ha. Cask sample. Fragrant, red-berry aromas. Touch of sweetness on the palate but plenty of tension. Firm, persistent finish but chalky and austere. (JL)
