The 2024 Rauzan-Ségla has a bouquet dominated by floral notes of violets, crunchy red berries, redcurrants and a hint of white pepper. On the palate, the wine has a ripe tannin structure and a pure, ethereal, velvety mouth-feel – light yet concentrated. A creaminess adds generosity to the mid-palate and leads to a long, saline finish. This is a lovely Rauzan-Ségla that should be approachable young, but has everything to age beautifully. The first vintage certified organic. Yield of 30hl/ha. 13% alcohol and 3.7pH. Blend: 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47.5% Merlot, 1.5% Petit Verdot

The Grand Vin 2024 Château Rauzan-Ségla checks in as 63.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot, and a splash of Cabernet Franc, with the élevage spanning 18 months in 50% new oak. It brings another level of density as well as finesse. Ripe black cherries, cassis, graphite, spring flowers, and beautifully integrated oak all define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied, with solid mid-palate depth, ripe tannins, and outstanding length.
Deep garnet-purple colored. Strides confidently out of the glass with classic black currants and red currant scents, leading to a core of cedar chest, underbrush, and damp soils, plus a touch of red roses. The medium-bodied palate is vibrant with exquisitely ripe tannins and beautifully knit tension framing the red and black berry layers, finishing long and fragrant. This is a finished blend, completed 2 months ago.
A blend of 63.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot and 0.5% Cabernet Franc, the 2024 Rauzan-Ségla offers up aromas of minty cassis, pencil shavings and cigar wrapper, followed by a medium-bodied, soft and pillowy palate that's supple and open-knit, concluding with a melting, discreetly herbal finish.

The Chanel group purchased Margaux Second Growth Ch. Rauzan-Ségla in 1994. Under the iconic fashion house’s ownership and – since 2014 – the guidance of winemaker Nicolas Audebert, the estate has seen significant investment and rapidly become one of Bordeaux’s most desirable.
