The 2024 Château Puygueraud checks in as 84% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Malbec from a mix of limestone plateau and more clay hillside parcels. It's a juicy, lively, red and black-fruited effort with lots of sappy floral and underbrush notes, medium body, a ripe yet fresher, juicy mouthfeel, supple tannins, and solid length on the finish.

A blend of 84% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc and 2% Malbec, the 2024 Puygueraud reveals aromas of violet, cassis and spices mingled with lively notes of dark berries. Medium-bodied, enveloping and juicy, it's framed by firm tannins, concluding with a slightly oaky finish. Notably, Malbec makes its return to the blend this year.
