Note di degustazione
This is less expressive on the nose at first, with subtle spice and red cherry fruit emerging with air. On the palate, it’s silky and soft, supple and fine-textured, but with a more serious side too – plenty of concentration and structure. It’s long, with the mouth-watering acidity filling the finish. Aged in 100% new oak, 12.95% alcohol and 3.53pH. Blend: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc

I loved the 2024 Château Moulin Saint-Georges, a juicy, elegant, and perfumed Saint-Émilion loaded with upfront red and black fruits, spicy wood, spring flowers, and chalky minerality. Medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, it's not massive, but it has present yet integrated oak, fine tannins, and outstanding length.
Deep garnet-purple colored. Is a touch broody and cedary to start, soon opening out to reveal notes of crushed black cherries and black raspberries, plus hints of bay leaves and fragrant soil. The light to medium-bodied palate is lively and vibrant with red berry flavors defining the finish.
The 2024 Moulin St Georges is showing quite nicely, offering up aromas of raspberries, cherries and spicy new oak, followed by a medium to full-bodied, tangy and mineral palate with a persistent, gently oak-inflected finish.
