Pierre Lurton continues to make this an unfussy, charming wine to look out for. Expect vivid ruby fruit, slimmer and more savoury fruit than the last few years, but well balanced with finely-placed tannins and an easy approach. No need to wait after bottling. Grape blend given is as planted, not vintage.

The 2024 Marjosse has a lively bouquet with black cherries and redcurrant fruit. Fine delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with a lightly spiced entry, quite high in acidity but there is decent fruit to back it up.
A fruit-forward and chocolaty Bordeaux with red berries and raw cocoa on the nose, following through to a medium body with rustic tannins. Lean at the center, but with fleshy fruit in the finish.
