Smoked black cherries, loamy earth, chocolate, and leafy herbs all give this an almost Pomerol-like feel. It's nicely textured, medium-bodied, has a plump, rounded mouthfeel, and ripe tannins. It's solid in the vintage, and I'd be surprised if this didn't end up being a rock-solid, outstanding Saint-Émilion.

Deep garnet-purple in color. Rocks up with uncomplicated notes of red cherries and cranberries, plus wafts of pencil lead and wild thyme. The light to medium-bodied palate is refreshing and chewy with a firm, herb-laced finish.

Medium-bodied, vibrant, and energetic, the wine is bright, fruity, and reserved in character, finishing with red plums, cherries, cocoa, espresso, and spearmint on the back end.
