Cloves, cedar, definite oak impact, softly spoken as the fruit builds through the palate - this has character and is well-handled in the vintage. Sappy and unfussy.

The 2024 La Fleur de Boüard is a very good wine for the year. Black cherry, mocha, new leather, spice, licorice and a touch of French oak are nicely amplified in the glass. There's good depth here, but there are some angular contours lurking beneath that might be addressable with élevage.
Flowers, green apples, and yellow citrus blend together perfectly in this forward, and fruity wine that is perfect for early drinking pleasure.
Fruity and playful with dark cherries and baking spices on the nose. Medium-bodied with round tannins. Firm on the palate with a focused finish.
