This has sleek and silky fruit, and careful extraction. There is austerity, but here it feels earned and like it is setting up the bones of the wine for ageing. Skilful winemaking, with well judged oak grilling just to soften those redcurrant and raspberry fruits. Michel Gracia owner. Grape blend given is as planted, not vintage.
The 2024 Gracia is a pretty sexy wine. A healthy dollop of Cabernet Franc lifts this racy, mid-weight Saint-Émilion. In 2024, Gracia is a wine marked by strong aromatics and notable finesse. A kick of red cherry fruit, blood orange, spice and new leather lingers.
The 2024 Gracia has a clean nose but lacks personality. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, but it feels a bit rigid. The finish is very linear and needs more fruit. Gracia can produce fine Saint-Émilion wine, but the growing season curtailed it.
