Made from 100% Merlot, the 2024 Château Franc Magnus offers very floral aromatics, bordering on green, intermixed with darker cherries, coffee, and tobacco notes. Medium-bodied and juicy, it shows solid mid-palate depth and reasonable length. It comes up short on ripeness, yet it does fairly well in the vintage, and I wouldn't be surprised to see this come in near the top of the barrel rating.
