Note di degustazione
The 2024 Fourcas Hosten has a light but clean and delineated nose, with black fruit, undergrowth and earthy scents unfolding in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly scrawny tannins on the entry and fresh acidity, but it is missing some fruit and grip on the finish. It's not bad overall, though early-drinking only.

Good structure with dark berry, dark cherry and crush stone character. Medium-bodied. Chewy finish.
52% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc. Cask sample. Open and aromatic with red fruit to the fore. Acidity prominent. Oak present as well so rather hard and drying on the finish. A bit lean at the moment. (JL)
