The 2024 Coufran is bright and punchy, with lovely forward fruit, chalk, mint, white pepper and rose petal. Medium in body and a touch nervy, the 2024 has good potential. I especially admire its energy.

The 2024 Coufran was showing a little greenness on the nose and I am just seeking more in the way of delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with hard tannins that may soften during barrel aging. The 2024 is just a bit short on the finish, but this does have charm, so hopefully it will cohere with time.
Juicy black cherries, currants, and a hint of cocoa pop in the nose, and on the lifted, medium-bodied, fresh palate, ending with savory herbs, and dusty chalk.
Some roasted coffee beans with dark cherries on the nose. Fresh and lightly chewy with medium body, firm tannins and a medium-length finish.
