Brilliant red. Ripe raspberry, cherry-vanilla and floral scents show good depth as well as vivacity thanks to a spicy topnote. Energetic red fruit flavors display very good depth and take on hints of candied rose and exotic spices with air. Finishes with sharp focus and strong cling, leaving red fruit preserve and floral notes behind.

I loved the 2017 Pinot Noir Sanford & Benedict Vineyard. It has a darker cherry, black raspberry, earth, and forest floor-driven bouquet that builds with time in the glass. With beautiful purity, a rounded, supple texture, and hints of salinity and subtle oak on the finish, it's another classy effort from this team.
