2018 Mission

The 2018 Mission has turned out beautifully. Floral and lifted, the 2018 is gracious from the first taste. All the elements are so nicely balanced. Dried cherry, crushed flowers, mint, pine, licorice and sweet pipe tobacco are some of the many strands that emerge over time. This is an especially perfumed, light-bodied red and yet there is a line of tannin that lends notable persistence. The Mission emerges from what is believed to be the oldest vines in California.
