Note di degustazione
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Ganymede Vineyard is another deep ruby/purple-hued effort that offers tons of blackberries, scorched earth, graphite, and roasted herb aromas and flavors. It's tight, backward, and closed for business on the palate, with medium to full body, rock star levels of concentration, and present yet ripe tannins. It has all the right components but is one for the ages, without the upfront charm found in the 2014. Give bottles 4-5 years of bottle age and it should cruise for two decades in good cellars.

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Ganymede Vineyard captures all the intensity that is typical of these wines at their best, but in a translucent, vibrant style that stands apart from all the other wines in the range. Veins of tannin give the wine energy and tension to play off the dark Stags Leap fruit. There is a purity to the flavors here that is highly appealing. This taut, structured Cabernet is going to need at least a few years in bottle to come into its own.
Displaying a deep purple-black color, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Ganymede offers aromas of blackberries, tar, earth and bay leaves with a waft of underbrush. Full-bodied, very firm, muscular and taut with chewy tannins, this needs time.
