Note di degustazione
The 2012 du Tertre has a well-defined nose: fully-mature with hoisin, dark plum and a light, ferrous edge, not powerful but focused. The palate is well balanced with saturated tannins, fine acidity, quite cohesive and poised with white pepper and clove lining the finish. This is a stylish Margaux for the vintage. Tasted blind at the Southwold Ten-Year On tasting.

Tasted blind. Looks quite mature. Simple nose. Acidity stands out from the fruit. Did it ripen fully? Quite raw tannins. But it may soften… (JR)
Tasted blind. Slightly dull crimson. Muddy nose. Sweet start but without real distinction. Ungenerous. (JR)
