2005 Morey-Saint-Denis Aux Cheseaux 1er Cru

From the Premier Cru portion of this site, across from Mazoyeres, comes the Arlaud 2005 Morey-St.-Denis Les Chezeaux, with aromas of resin- and sage-tinged ripe blackberry. The palate displays sappy richness and real cling, but with a touch of extraneous astringency that might dissipate as it recovers from bottling.
