The 2019 Pinot Noir Joseph Swan Vineyard is singular in character with impressive intensity and complexity. Wild berry jam scents are complemented by aromas of dried roses, Angostura bitters, mushrooms and woodsmoke, shifting with each return to the glass. The palate is concentrated yet seamless, with a silky texture and bursts of freshness that highlight a fan of bitters and savory accents across the long finish.

The 2019 Pinot Noir Joseph Swan Vineyard moves in a darker direction while maintaining a pure fruit profile with ripe black cherry, pine, and violets. It is full-bodied with black raspberry liqueur that fills through the mid-palate with ripe tannins and dusty earth. Drink it over the next 15 years.
The 2019 Pinot Noir Joseph Swan Vineyard is another tremendous wine from Arista. The aromatics alone are compelling. Succulent dark cherry, plum, coffee, blood orange, lavender and spice are dialed up in this wonderfully fleshy, nuanced Pinot Noir. I loved it.
