The 2016 Tail Feather is a blend of Viognier, Muscat and Riesling done in a very slightly off dry style that is ideal for serving as an aperitif. The Muscat character really comes through in the wine's tropical flavors and exotic white floral notes. Drink it over the next year or two.

The 2016 Tail Feathers White Blend from the Rogue Valley in Oregon is a blend of Viognier, Muscat, and Riesling. Notes of lychee, citrus blossom, hints of lime and exotic flowers, all emerge from this clean, crisp, utterly delicious white that has integrated acidity, beautiful complexity, and a great finish. It’s a classy, beautiful effort. These Corra releases are made by Celia Welch and come from vineyards in Pritchard Hill and Rutherford. These are small production, yet seriously impressive wines.
A blend of 40% Viognier, 40% Muscat Blanc and 20% Riesling, the 2016 Tail Feathers White Blend has a beautiful floral nose of white peaches, spiced pears and honeysuckle with suggestions of lemongrass, lime leaves and coriander seed. Medium-bodied, it has an off-dry palate and tons of perfume and spice, with crisp acidity and a long, spicy finish.
