Punteggio 97/100 · Da bere 2025-2030, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Nov 2025

The 2015 Sauvignon Blanc Georgia has aged spectacularly well. It was done in a riper style than is the norm today, with much more new oak impact, and yet that has not in any way affected ageability. Lemon confit, chamomile, tangerine oil and a kiss of French oak build into the oily, viscous finish. Readers who own it should be thrilled. I would be.

Punteggio 94/100 · Da bere 2017-2024, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Mar 2018

The 2015 Sauvignon Blanc Georgia is rich and enveloping on the palate. Fermentation and aging in barrel bring out the wine's textural resonance. Although the Georgia is quite viscous, there is a good deal of aromatic intensity as well, most likely the result of a decision to harvest a touch earlier than in the past. Candied lemon peel, mint, exotic flowers and a kiss of new French oak all meld together in this textured, racy Sauvignon Blanc.

Punteggio 95/100 · Da bere 2017-2036, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Dec 2017

The 2015 Georgia Sauvignon Blanc is redolent of ripe apricots, passion fruit and guava plus notions of fresh hay, chalk dust and acacia honey. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is positively electric, with intense tropical and stone fruit flavors framed by lively freshness and a satiny texture, finishing long and chalky. 350 cases were made.

Tasted from barrel, the 2015 Sauvignon Blanc Georgia is rich, unctuous and deeply textured, with a striking interplay of the intensity of the year, but the greater freshness that has become part of the house style over the last few vintages. White peach, mint, dried flowers, lemon confit and lightly tropical notes meld into the oily, unctuous finish.
