Note di degustazione
Notes of sweet white flowers, pear, green apple and fresh bread introduce the 2018 Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru, a full-bodied, layered and satiny wine that's fleshy but incisive, with a nicely controlled, racy profile, concluding with a saline, mineral finish.

Fermented in 350-litre oak. Picked 27 August, a Monday. Barrel sample. More pear than citrus on the nose, really creamy. Full in the mouth with stone fruits as well as citrus and tight on the long finish. Tighter and more stony on the finish – completely different shape from the Bâtard. Intense and pointed on the long finish. (JH)
