The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Actaeon is one of the most complete wines in this tasting. Sweet layered aromatics, pliant fruit and silky tannins are the main signatures. All the elements are nicely balanced throughout. Actaeon is sourced from the Quixote vineyard in Stags Leap. This is very nicely done.

From the Quixote Vineyard, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Actaeon is from the Stags Leap AVA. This is a delicate, more feminine style of Cabernet Sauvignon with medium body, pretty red currant, dark cherry and berry fruit. It has fresh acidity, undeniable elegance and some minerality in this finesse-styled, easygoing, yet delicious Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next 12-15 years.
