The 2019 Chardonnay Zephyr is airy and effusive. Dried flowers, lime, lemon zest, chamomile, mint and sage are all beautifully lifted. Mount Eden clone Chardonnay planted at the Red Car estate on a north-facing block yields an especially savory Chardonnay. There is plenty of depth, it just needs time to emerge more fully.
