2022 St Veran Rochats

The 2022 Saint-Véran Les Rochats comes from more pink limestone soils. This repeats the lovely bouquet that I found last year: yellow plum, touches of honeycomb, quite backward compared to the Les Buis cuvée but there is a lot more complexity. The palate is crisp and edgy on the entry, the richness effortlessly counterbalanced by the silver bead of acidity with a bright and animated finish. Recommended.
