Note di degustazione
There is an unoaked red from Garnacha grapes from the members of the Cadalso de los Vidrios Cooperative, the 2015 Agricola de Cadalso, produced with the help of Gredos superstars Comando G. They selected some zones of the Cadalso vineyards and provided a vinification protocol. The grapes were harvested early-ish for this warmer year, and the destemmed grapes fermented in concrete tanks with indigenous yeasts (the cooperative has never used yeasts or other products) where it was kept for some eight months. This is young, juicy, accessible and fresh, with the depth of old vines, not showing any overripeness or oxidation—fresh and very pleasant. This wine might be offered under other private labels, but this one is the one used by Vila Viniteca in Spain. This is an amazing achievement for a first year and represents very good value. I'm looking forward to tasting 2016, a cooler year, because this is quite amazing. Superb juiciness, it should work wonders by the glass. 16,000 bottles were filled under this label, but there are a total of 30,000 bottles.
