NV Sidónio de Sousa Brut Nature Vinho Espumante

The NV Espumante Branco Brut Nature was exclusively from 2022, but it's not certified by the appellation. It's a blend of the traditional varieties, Bical, Maria Gomez and Arinto, with some 20-plus months with lees in bottle. It has an appley nose with some balsamic hints of bay leaf and a bone-dry palate and mouthfeel. It has 12.5% alcohol, with a pH of 3.23 and 1.5 grams of sugar. 38,000 bottles produced. It was disgorged in October 2024.
