The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Tamara Vineyard is a vibrant, energetic wine. Dark plums, black cherries, mint, cassis and graphite are some of the many notes that flow from the glass in this gorgeous 2009. Today the wine is quite young, but give it a few years. This is a fabulous showing. Stylistically, it is more reserved than the 2008, which comes across as sweeter and riper.

Kevin Kinsella’s many achievements include a highly successful career in venture capital and the vision to provide early funding for the hit musical “The Jersey Boys.” Kinsella has set his sights to making wine with the assistance of noted winemaker Thomas Rivers-Brown. The three-acre, organically farmed vineyard was originally planted in 2000. Another ten acres were subsequently planted in 2008.
