2000 Maculan Acininobili

The 2000 Acininobili demonstrates why this wine, together with the Vin Santo of Avignonesi, is considered Italy’s number one dessert offering. A gleaming golden amber, it is luxuriously rich on the nose with a full panoply of dried apricots, figs, candied orange rind, molasses, and noble rot and features an exceptional density and sweetness on the palate along with a vibrancy and definition which keep the sugars from getting out of control.
