2022 Morét-Brealynn Pinot Noir Lake View Vineyard

Pouring a deep, youthful ruby red color, the 2022 Pinot Noir Lakeview Vineyard was aged for 10 months in new Billon Burgundy barrels and is bottled under screwcap. It benefits from some air at this early stage, and I would recommend decanting it if opening now. On the nose, it offers fresh aromas of pure cherries, roses, mocha, and wet stones. This medium-bodied red is floral and elegant, with pretty fruit all the way through the palate, offers tremendous appeal now, although it has the structure and purity to cruise over the next 7-10 years.
