NV Mouzon-Leroux & Fils L'Ineffable Blanc De Noirs

Based on the 2010 and 2009 vintages (70% and 30%, respectively), the NV Verzy Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs L'Ineffable is a pure Pinot Noir that shows stunning freshness and citric, mineral notes on the refined nose. Beautifully chalky, fresh and with subtly sweet cherry flavors on the palate, this is a highly finessed yet tensioned, very mineral and persistent grand cru with citric freshness in the long and complex finish. My sample was disgorged in July 2014 as Extra Brut with four grams of dosage.
