Pale to medium ruby-purple in color, the 2017 Pinot Noir Albatross Ridge has a singular nose of perfumed soil, crushed stone, violet and lilac over a black fruit core with blue fruit sparks plus notes of peppercorn and exotic spice. Light to medium-bodied, it offers fragrant dark fruits in the mouth framed by firm, grainy tannins and good freshness, finishing long and spiced. 184 cases produced.
