2007 Lattanzio Wines Pinot Noir WE Bottoms Vineyard

Deep red. Perfumed bouquet of red berry preserves, cherry-cola and vanilla bean. Sweet red and dark berry flavors are framed by silky tannins and given gentle bite by a bitter cherry skin quality. Gains sweetness and power with air, finishing with clinging notes of black raspberry and vanilla. I like this wine's deep, sweet fruit but find the oak a bit pronounced today.
