Note di degustazione
Vivid ruby-red. Powerful, highly perfumed red and blue fruit, incense, mocha and vanilla aromas are enlivened by a spicy nuance and a hint of pungent flowers. Weighty and velvety in texture, offering appealingly sweet boysenberry, black raspberry and cherry cola flavors that become more lively on the back half. Plays brawn off energy with a sure hand and finishes impressively long and sweet, with gentle tannic grip, repeating blue fruit character and a hint of cola. Two-thirds new French oak.

The 2016 Pinot Noir Tightrope has broody scents of cranberry sauce, woodsmoke, forest floor, wild blackberries and dried herbs. The palate is medium-bodied, concentrated and earthy, firmly framed but fresh and flavorful, finishing long. 143 cases were made.
This has aromas of ripe black cherries that follow through to the palate, where they roll rich, fresh and smooth. The oak is nicely played here, adding plenty of structure and length, yet leaving the fresh black cherries to lead the long finish. Drink or hold.
