2010 Ecluse Wines Ensemble

(44% cabernet sauvignon, 25% merlot, 19% petit verdot and 12% malbec): Deep ruby. Cherry, redcurrant, rose and licorice on the nose, along with sweet oak notes. Supple and nicely concentrated, with juicy flavors of red fruits, spicecake and candied flowers. Tangy acids give the wine clarity and lift and add bite to the focused, very persistent finish.
