2018 Crocker & Starr Sauvignon Blanc AVA Napa Valley

From vineyards in St. Helena, Rutherford and Calistoga, the 2018 A.V.A. Napa Valley Blend of Sauvignon Blanc contains 6% Sémillon and was fermented and aged for eight months in barrels, cement eggs and stainless steel tanks. It offers up notions of waxed lemons, baker’s yeast and fresh grapefruit with hints of wild sage, white chalk and struck match. Medium-bodied, elegant and showing loads of mineral sparks, it has a lovely hint of herbs in the long, invigorating finish. 892 cases produced.
