The 2009 Pinot Noir Arbre Vert Vineyard displays earth notes, balsam wood, Asian spices, rose petal, cherry, and cranberry. In the glass it opens to reveal ripe, succulent flavors, a velvety texture, and greater complexity than the Chehalem Mountains cuvee although in a perfect world it, too, could have used greater depth and concentration.
