The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Stagecoach Vineyard comes from a site that’s on the edge of Pritchard Hill and includes 13% Cabernet Franc. Brought up in 60% new French oak, it offers a classic, slightly understated style in its darker berry fruits, earthy, forest floor, and dried spice aromas and flavors, medium body, lean texture, and juicy acidity. It’s an enjoyable, well-made Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the coming decade or so.
