2005 Jeff Cohn Cellars Syrah Philary Vineyard

The 2005 Syrah Philary Vineyard, from the Atlas Peak sector of Napa Valley, offers sensational notes of melted licorice, black olives, smoked meats, blackberries, and cassis. Its good acidity, high tannins, and masculine, full-bodied personality remind me of a French Hermitage. Give it several years of bottle age and consume it over the following 10-15 years.
