Sourced from Bien Nacido Vineyard's X Block, the 2022 Syrah Anika is a Syrah-lovers dream on the nose, with classic aromas of cured meats, camphor and white pepper. The palate wonderfully combines ethereal weightlessness with richly saturated texture, floating at first, then landing with substantial force into a layered, focused and expansive finish. This is yet another testament to the classicism possible in Santa Barbara County Syrah.

The 2022 Syrah Annika Bien Nacido is an intriguing wine. Dark red/purplish fruit, lavender, spice, cured meats and black pepper all run through this dense Bien Nacido Syrah. Bright blood orange acids lift the finish while also adding quite a bit of energy.
