The palate straddles silky lifted elegance and grounded, deftly concentrated power bound with an alluring, savory core and taut acidity that gains intensity on the finish. Singular and compelling, this should drink beautifully through its 10th birthday.

The 2021 Pinot Noir Riverbench Vineyard is deeper ruby-hued and has attractive notes of ripe black raspberries, leafy herbs, underbrush, and subtle baking spices. These carry to a medium-bodied Pinot Noir that's nicely balanced, has a layered, rounded mouthfeel, and ripe tannins.
The 2021 Pinot Noir Riverbench Vineyard is a gorgeous wine that marries the aromatic presence of Santa Maria with terrific fruit depth. Blue/purplish fruit, pomegranate, spice, rose petal and lavender are nicely pushed forward. There's lovely depth and texture here. Bright acids pull it all together on the close.
