Note di degustazione
You can feel the warmth of the vintage on the fruit, which has a lovely cooked-lemon scent. Note-perfect on the palate, with rounded, fresh acidity, moderate length, and a light dose of oyster-shell flavour. Conventional, classic Chablis. (RH)

The 2018 Chablis Village is matured entirely in stainless steel. It has an impressive, focused bouquet of crushed stone intermixed with yellow flowers, a slight walnut note emerging with time. The palate is crisp and fresh on the entry. A lightly spiced and animated Chablis Village with just a hint of nougat imparting sweetness on the aftertaste. Very fine.
Rather quiet on the nose yet inviting, light spice and herby lemon fruit – smells as if there is some oak influence here, unless it is just creamy lees character – more lees on the palate so probably no oak. Well defined, fresh for 2018, direct and chalky on the finish. (JH)
The 2018 Chablis is a terrific introduction to the Moreau wines and the house style. Rich and textured, with lovely up-front fruit and a racy, exuberant personality, the 2018 is a joy to taste, even in the early going. Light tropical notes, almond, lemon confit and chamomile are some of the many notes that grace this exquisite, inviting Chablis.
