Punteggio 90/100 · Da bere 2016-2024, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, Aug 2016
My favorite in the lineup, with a Burgundian forest floor, dried red fruit and spice bouquet, the 2014 Pinot Noir Pommard (aged 11 months in 50% new French oak) is medium-bodied, nicely textured, seamless and elegant. Like all of the wines here, it's not a powerhouse, but it has a very pretty, balanced and complex style that will drink nicely for 7-8 years.

The 2014 Pinot Noir Pommard Clone is racy, overt and juicy, with plenty of the open-knit fruit that is so typical of the Pommard clone. The 2014 offers good up-front fruit, but loses just a touch of persistence through the mid-palate and into the finish.
