2015 Sandro Fay Valtellina Superiore - Sassella Il Glicine

The 2015 Valtellina Superiore Sassella Il Glicine is a subdued and delicate red wine with elegant aromas of rose bud, cassis and wild blueberry. There is a spicy touch of crushed white pepper that adds complexity at the back. Fruit for this wine comes from a vineyard located some 470 meters above sea level. This is a mid-weight red with lasting substance and freshness. Some 6,809 bottles were produced.
