Punteggio 91/100 · Da bere 2023-2026, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, May 2024

Marked by higher acidity and less flesh than the 2022, the 2021 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc is dominated by notes of white peach and lime zest. A blend of 40% each Grenache Blanc and Roussanne, plus 20% Clairette, about 30% saw new French oak, while the rest was matured in stainless steel.

Punteggio 92/100 · Da bere 2022-2029, Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous, Jun 2023

The medium lemon-colored 2021 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc states 13.5% alcohol on the label. It has briefly aged in a combination of new oak barriques and stainless steel tanks, displaying fragrant aromatics of honeysuckle, yellow apple, pear, white peach, cedar and a pinch of vanilla. Medium-bodied and well-balanced by round acidity, the finish is bright.

Crushed citrus, lime, mint, and some chalky minerality all emerge from the 2021 Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc, a vibrant, medium-bodied, fresher-styled white from Châteauneuf du Pape that shines for its purity, freshness, and focus. It's going to put on weight with a year in bottle and drink brilliantly for at least 3-4 years, and I suspect it will have an interesting evolution beyond that as well.
