1997 Folie a Deux - Zinfandel Fiddletown Eschen Vineyard

What a disappointment this wine turned out to be. I expected much better from both the winery and the winemaker. The wine is excessively acidified, with evolved colors, and insufficient depth and concentration. The high, tart acids of the 1997 Zinfandel Eschen Vineyard Old Vine-Fiddletown give the wine a narrow, lean, compact mouth-feel. What a shame! Tel. (707) 963-1160
