Punteggio 91/100 · Jeb Dunnuck, Jul 2018

Sweet red and black fruits, gamey meat, and spice all emerge from Jennie's 2007 Pinot Noir Nielson, which is beautifully textured, supple and polished on the palate, with sweet tannin. It has tons of charm, a rounded, layered personality, and while drinking at point, has another decade of longevity.

Bright red. Resinous red and dark berries on the nose, with hints of herbs and dried flowers adding complexity. Lush and creamy in texture, offering deep cherry and black raspberry flavors and an exotic note of black olive. This rich, potent rendition of pinot will work well with strongly seasoned red meats.

Punteggio 88/100 · Da bere 2009-2014, Robert Parker, Aug 2009

The spicy, earthy, herbaceous 2007 Pinot Noir Nielson Vineyard reveals crisp, tart acidity along with an autumnal, forest floor, leafy, decaying vegetative character interwoven with black currant and sweet cherry fruit. Although seductive, it is not as deep or rich as some of its siblings. Drink it over the next 4-5 years. A strong line-up of Pinot Noirs from Bonaccorsi, these cuvees reveal distinctive personalities, but all offer impressively high quality. The alcohol content of the single vineyard wines ranges from 14.7% to 15.3%, and the pH’s go from 3.72 to 3.89. All of them spend about 15 months in French oak (40% new). Tel. (310) 994-3207
