The 2016 Zinfandel 1910 Block is flat-out gorgeous. More pure, elegant, and seamless than the 2015, yet not as concentrated or bombastic, it has sensational notes of crème de cassis, blueberries, smoked earth, cedar plank, and dried flowers. Medium to full-bodied, ultra-fine, nuanced, and elegant, it's one of the standouts in this lineup. Winemaker Jake Bilbro has produced a bevy of brilliant Zinfandels that show the balance and elegance that’s the hallmark of the great 2016 vintage.

Wow—the deep garnet-purple colored 2016 Zinfandel 1910 Block has such an expressive and beautifully perfumed yet wonderfully complex nose of kirsch, chocolate-covered cherries, dried mulberries and roses with hints of licorice, potpourri and incense. Full-bodied, rich, firm and wonderfully structured with great freshness and wonderfully ripe tannins, it finishes with epic length and depth. 316 cases produced.
The 2016 Zinfandel 1910 Block is outrageously beautiful. Vivid, rich and explosive, the 2016 possesses tremendous density and volume without ever being heavy. The purity of the flavors is simply dazzling. Sweet floral notes, bright, red-toned fruit and mint literally explode from the glass in this deep, layered wine from Limerick Lane. In a word: sublime.
