Punteggio 90/100 · Da bere 2015-2020, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, Oct 2015

From Sandstone soils and first made in 2012, the 2013 Pinot Noir Will’s Cabin Vineyard has a lot of passion and candied red fruits, violets and hints of sappy flowers to go with a medium-bodied, juicy, ready to go style. Fermented with 25% whole clusters and aged 19 months in 33% new French oak, it lacks a touch of the complexity found in the other cuvees, yet is still outstanding. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, drink it over the coming 4-5 years.

Punteggio 92/100 · Da bere 2016-2021, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jul 2015

The 2013 Pinot Noir Will's Cabin Vineyard is one of the most aromatic and lifted wines in this range. Not surprisingly, Will's Cabin is also the highest parcel the Fogarty family farms. Sweet red plum, cherry pit, crushed rose petal and spice are all laced into the silky finish. Given its delicate, feminine personality, I would prefer to drink the 2013 over the next handful of years. Will's Cabin emerges from a parcel planted in 2000 with Swan and Mount Eden clones. I imagine the wine will reward readers with a long drinking window of pure pleasure.
