Note di degustazione
The 2019 Chablis Bougros Côte Bouguerots Grand Cru has a well-defined bouquet with subtle undergrowth scents, touches of wild fennel and dried orange rind. The palate is medium-bodied with a sapid entry, gentle grip and sour lemon intermixed with ginger and white pepper, fanning out with intent toward its persistent finish. With good substance and cohesion here, this is a very promising Chablis. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.

The 2019 Chablis Grand Cru Bougros Côte Bouguerots is brilliant, unwinding in the glass with notes of warm bread, crisp orchard fruit, beeswax and oyster shell. Full-bodied, layered and multidimensional, it's deep and concentrated, with huge reserves of chalky structure and an incisive spine of acidity. It concludes with a finish of almost disconcerting intensity. Again, this is a very tightly wound young wine, cropped at only 29 hectoliters per hectare, and it will require and reward patience.
(from a 2.2 ha parcel at the bottom section of the vineyard; even so, the vineyard is so steep here that it must be worked entirely by hand as tractors would be dangerous to use). A pure essence is comprised by notes of white flowers, citrus, mineral reduction and a gentle application of wood. The racy, intense and equally refined middle weight flavors are also super-saline while exhibiting superb length on the balanced, youthfully austere and very<br /> dry finale. This is excellent and a wine that should also age effortlessly. 2029+
